Upcoming workshops
Small groups. Quiet space. Real rest.
Float Into Stillness — Thursday, April 30, 6pm. A 45-minute breath and floating meditation experience. Your nervous system softens. Your mind quiets. If you've never been in a hammock before, this is where to start.
Float Into Release — Thursday, May 28, 6pm. 90 minutes of aerial yoga blended with myofascial release. For when your body needs more than stretching.
Float Into Summer — Friday, June 19, 6:30pm. Two hours of flowy aerial yoga, essential oils, breathwork, extended floating savasana, and a closing herbal tea ritual.
New to aerial yoga?
If the idea of hanging in a hammock feels a little strange, well . . . I invite you to try it. My little studio I wrote about this here: Aerial Yoga Isn't What You Think It Is
Float Into Stillness is the simplest of the three workshops. Just the hammock supporting your body while you rest and breathe. It's the shortest and simplest way to test an aerial experience to see how it serves you.
Quote I'm pondering . . .
In each newsletter I share a quote, reference or research —something that’s been shaping how I think and/or teach.
Greek philosopher Heraclitus on how nothing is the same:
“No man ever steps in the same river twice, for it's not the same river and he's not the same man.”
This quote can be applied to the yoga practice . . . the body you bring to the mat today isn't the body you brought last week . . . or yesterday . . . or even this morning. Something is always different — your sleep, your stress, what you ate, what's on your mind. Meeting the body that actually showed up changes the whole practice. You are always evolving.
Be open to your experience,
